OPPO F29 and F29 Pro: OPPO has officially announced the launch of its latest smartphones, the F29 and F29 Pro, in India on March 20. These devices are the successors to last year’s F27 series.
According to OPPO, the F29 series is designed to endure tough environmental conditions, featuring a 360° Armour Body and advanced waterproofing. The smartphones have passed 14+ military-grade environmental tests, ensuring durability.
Weighing just 180g and measuring 7.55mm in thickness, these devices have been certified by SGS India for IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings, confirming their resistance to dust and water. The series also includes a 6000mAh battery with 80W fast charging and a 300% network boost for enhanced connectivity.
Enhanced Build & Protection
OPPO has integrated Sponge Bionic Cushioning into the F29 series to absorb impact and minimize damage from drops. The elevated battery cover and side frame add extra protection, while the Raised Corner Design Cover shields all four corners from damage.
To prevent scratches, the Lens Protection Ring is crafted from strengthened glass and is positioned higher than the camera lens. The internal frame, protecting the motherboard, has been upgraded to aerospace-grade aluminum alloy, improving structural integrity by 10% compared to the previous generation.
The F29 series has undergone 14 Military Standard (MIL-STD-810H-2022) tests, covering resistance against extreme temperatures, shocks, rain, freezing water, sand, dust, salt mist, solar radiation, humidity, vibrations, fluid contamination, mold, and acceleration forces.
