PM Kisan Scheme: These Farmers Will Not Receive the 19th Installment – Is Your Name on the List?

PM Kisan Scheme: Under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, eligible farmers receive financial assistance of ₹6,000 per year, which is disbursed in three installments of ₹2,000 each. So far, the government has distributed over ₹3.46 lakh crore under this scheme, benefiting more than 11 crore farmers across 18 installments. With continuous government efforts, the number of beneficiaries for the 18th installment has reached 9.58 crore.

Last October, Prime Minister Narendra Modi transferred ₹2,000 under the 18th installment to farmers’ accounts. Now, farmers are eagerly awaiting the 19th installment of the scheme.

Who is Eligible for PM Kisan Scheme?

Not all farmers qualify for this scheme. Only those who meet the eligibility criteria can avail of the benefits. If you are a land-owning farmer and haven’t yet registered, you can apply online by visiting the official PM Kisan website (pmkisan.gov.in). Navigate to the “Farmer Corner”, where you can self-register and complete the application process. However, registration and fulfillment of eligibility criteria are mandatory to receive benefits.

To be eligible:

  • The applicant must own agricultural land in their name.
  • The land record should be registered before February 1, 2019.
  • The applicant’s bank account must be linked with Aadhaar and NPCI for Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).

Who Will Not Receive the 19th Installment?

Farmers falling under the following categories will not receive benefits from the scheme:

  1. If another member of the same family is already receiving PM Kisan benefits.
  2. If the applicant does not own agricultural land.
  3. If the applicant was below 18 years of age as of February 1, 2019.
  4. If the applicant owns institutional land.
  5. If the applicant or their family member is a Non-Resident Indian (NRI).
  6. If a family member holds or has held a constitutional post.
  7. If a family member is a former or current Minister at the State or Central level.
  8. If a family member has served as a District Council President, Mayor, Member of Parliament, or Member of State Assembly.
  9. If a family member is currently working or retired from Central/State Government services (excluding Group D employees).
  10. If a family member receives a monthly pension of ₹10,000 or more (except Group D employees).
  11. If a family member has paid income tax in the last financial year.
  12. If a family member is a practicing Doctor, Engineer, Lawyer, Chartered Accountant, or Architect registered with a professional body.

e-KYC is Mandatory

To continue receiving benefits under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, farmers must complete their e-KYC online. This step links their Aadhaar with the scheme, ensuring direct transfer of funds to their bank accounts. Without completing e-KYC, the installment will not be credited.
